Conservation and management of Unesco sites
Research is aimed at identifying the landscape characters of the sites listed as World Heritage in order to define the regulations for their conservation and management and to draw up a Management Plan as required by Unesco (see the relatedDecree or other documents).
Activities involve drawing up Management Plans as well as identifying historic landscape systems of which the listed sites were part and the surviving elements in the current system; it also involves defining the actions to be implemented in order to preserve and manage the heritage over time.
