Landscape policies and culture in Italy and in Europe

Research concerns the study and critical comparison of the landscape policies carried out both in Italy and abroad (starting from the second half of the XX century) for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention: knowledge, conservation, rehabilitation, management tools at the various administrative levels; laws and norms; compliance with administrative norms; ways and tools for raising awareness in the populations and for encouraging their active participation in the choices about landscape; landscape compatibility of territorial transformations.
